Taping, Strapping and Orthopaedic Supports
In the acute stages of injuries damaged tissues often require some form of support to ensure that things heal in the correct position. Failure to get this early management correct leads to chronic problems. Where appropriate we can use taping and strapping techniques to support injured joints; in certain circumstances we will recommend an orthopaedic support (generally more severe or long-term problems will require this type of management). We are the best people to advise you as to which type of support is best for you or as to whether you actually need a support.
